Inspiring others is my passion

My name is Astrid Di Bella.

I live in beautiful South Tyrol with my three children and my husband.

It has always been important to me to empower women.

Girls going through puberty, women during pregnancy and childbirth, and now especially women on the way to an independent and free life!

Midwife

When I saw my first home birth in 1995 at the age of 15, my decision was made: I wanted to become a midwife. And so I completed my midwifery training in 2000 and, after a few years of working in the hospital, became a freelance midwife. The desire for holistic care for my wife and family, but also the clear need to work independently, drove me to take this step into freelance work.

In almost 20 years of work I have been able to experience many wonderful moments, accompanied many families at the birth of their child and enjoyed interesting further training.

The big change

In the fall of 2019, I got the shocking diagnosis of blood cancer from one day to the next. Suddenly nothing was like it was before. This was followed by chemotherapy, 6 weeks of hospitalization and a total of 40 weeks of maintenance therapy.

Unfortunately, it was immediately clear to me: I will probably have to stop my work as a midwife for the time being.

This hit me very hard. I couldn't really imagine a life without my calling. Luckily I had built up a second mainstay in the last few years. This helped me a lot to accept this first period of great change.

Ringana

Ringana came into my life in the summer of 2017. A midwife colleague I value very much told me about this Austrian company with a unique ethical and sustainable philosophy and vegan, fresh natural products. I trusted my girlfriend and decided at the time, without knowing a product better, to get to know the company better.

And the more I found out about the company and got to know the products, the more excited I became.

And when I'm passionate about something, I can't keep quiet, so over time a whole customer base and an international team have developed.

Now I am incredibly happy to have recognized and seized the opportunity with Ringana in 2017. Despite my illness, I was able to work and now have a job that is geared to my current needs, that is family-friendly, that completely convinces me in my heart, with which I can make a valuable contribution to our world and all that with a more as a lucrative income.

I want to give you all these chances!

With love, Astrid
